Battles will not load!

I just installed mtw2 gold w/ the kingdoms expansion, everything went smooth until i tried to start a battle. The loading bar at the bottom fills up all the way and then nothing happens, the screen with the historical quote stays the same forever and the battle never starts! I can watch the opening video and the video of some guy reading a book and narrating but when i try to start any battle NOTHING HAPPENS. I can start the campaign but the same prob occurs when i try to start any battle. Also the quickbattle and historical battle just stay at the loading screen. I have tried this on mtw2 and all of the expansion campaigns w no luck. My computer runs xp and has more than minimum reqs to run this game. I just bought the game and have been playing rtw and rtr for a while with no probs
Can anyone plz help?

had you tried reinstalling? If you're sure your computer can handle it then try reinstalling and see where that leads.

For starters, what are your computer specs and what operating system? Is this one battle or all battles?

did you try updating your drivers? if you provide your specs using this we can tell you where to get new ones. New forceware just came out yesterday.

cpu, ram, video card and vram and driver version, computer make and model and any upgrades you have done to it, operating system and last version, directx version, .Net framework version.

Its got: 2.73 ghz, 2048mb RAM, Video Processor: Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset, Display Drivers: ialmrnt5.dll,
Video memory size 128 MBytes, its a Dell DV051 w/ XP sp3, os version 5.1.2600, DirectX 9.0c, idk how to find the .net framework. It originally had 1gb ram and i added 1gb more

The video chipset will not play battles even on its best day. You will have problems trying to upgrade to a video card because you only have a PCIe x1 slot. Almost all PCIe cards now are PCIe x16. Video memory of 128mb is minimum and I don't know one 128mb card that has shader 2 capabilities.

If you want to fight battles you need a computer upgrade.
