Multiplayer Campaign

does anybody know of any multiplayer campaign that is just human vs human, so the battles can be played out?

I've heard it's possible with some modding, but it's rather difficult compared to something like making all factions playable. I don't know how to do it myself, sorry I couldn't be of help, but perhaps the Workshop forum could help more.

I've looked in the past but haven't seen a full mod for it. The best I've seen is this one http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=160547. Only problem is you can't play battles.

The Augustus mod is the only one I know that does a good job of a hotseat (which is a multiplayer campaign for people) but hotseats don't allow field battles between humans. The engine simply can't do that, since it requires both people to be online, the specific map, the specific commanders, armies, season, weather etc.
Perhaps in the future it will be possible to save the entire setup for a battle or simply the armies and commanders and load those in a MP fight.
Until then, this is as good as it gets.

i could swear that i remember a mod a while ago that did a human vs human campaign. it was not done on the traditional Rome campaign map, but another much simpler looking one and there were no citys it was just armies. does anybody know what i am talking about? it required some mods as Net Framework, I was a little suspicious about that but thats about all i can remember.
