    Icon4 system failure.... grrrr

i have recently been gettin a serious problem with mtw2... in the middle of battles i get a system failure and the pc reboots. having disabled system reboot on failure i now get a STOP error.
havent had any problems with small battles (started a new campaign to see if it was just the save file) but havent got far enough to do anything on the scale at which it failed before.

cant find anyone else experiencing this problem.. any ideas?

thought it might be a RAM issue? mainly hoping that theres a problem with the save file and i wont have this issue in the future :S

    please help!

I see one thing wrong that could affect it.

The minimum resolution is 1024x768, 32bit. Your dxdiag says 800x600, 32bit. This will throw off the maps trying to load. Can you push your resolution up?

Your processor is slow by today's standards and your ram is minimum. Some will disagree but don't expect much above minimum resolution with the eyecandy turned off.

yeh just noticed that, altho is strange becos resolution is set to 1024x768 in the control panel and on my nvidia card control panel.... any ideas?

have been thinkin of upgradin my processor altho im on a budget, any suggestions?

is ther any possibility that the problem cud be a corrupted save file? hav startd a new campaign and havnt had the issue but am yet to get to a battles on the scale that im stuck at....

    ps.
in case its useful have noted the stop error code i get -
    0x0000007F (0x0000000D, 0x0000000, 0x0000000)

cheers for that, mainly seem to be suggesting a RAM issue which is something i had considerd. altho wudnt my pc crash randomly n not just whilst playin mtw2 battles if it were a memory issue? most of the people who had the same STOP error as me seem to have random crashes.

Once I do a RAM test i will let u know the results

Copy protection problems = uTorrent channel4 4OD could, and unfortunately about anything you have for being DJ.

This copy protection, Securom by name, version 7, modified by Sega for their use, is programmed to find anything that seems to be able to be used for illegal activity of which includes, torrents, warez, dvd burnres, emulation software, third party music and movie downloaders that can bypass others' copy protection, etc.

I also noticed in your list that you still need to install .Net framewok 3.5 sp1 for Kingdoms.

would that not just prevent it from running at all rather than crashing?
have just played through a historical battle with no problems... starting to be more convinced this may just be a save file problem... u think thats a possibility?

Also update your rig. you could get a dual core E2160 for less than $50 2gb of ram for less than $50 and a better video card for $150. Spend a little money and you'll have a much better time of it.
