It takes a man to admit his fears, and I also know none of you guys outside of this website. So if you consider yourself a man then honestly write down some of your main fears while commenting on everyone elses. One per post.

I am afraid of the dark. The idea of not knowing fully what surrounds me.

...that didn't feel very manly actually...

I am scared

less by the unfinished side of my basement. It is dark, cold, damp, and scary...

I wouldn't mind going down there if there weren't 3 dehumidifiers down there making the whole place rumble, so I can't hear the bad guy's footsteps as he sneaks up to knife my hamstrings (my other major fear: brutal hamstring knifing

not kidding...). If it was just quite down there I would just open a can of whoop ass on him, but a drunk elephant could sneak up on me down there. Anyway, I find myself running up the stairs out of there like a girl when i come back up, which makes have lower self esteem...

It is good you admit of what you are scared.

I am scared of something I can't see coming to me, but I can hear it. Like you are watching a horror movie, saw,scream,I know what you did last summer,...

Or a big spider,I find a spider disgusting but I am not scared of it.

The experiences I made during growing up made me afraid of people, which confines me to my home, I never go out on week-ends etc.
Establishing new RL contacts is an extremely slow process for me that happens very, very rarely.

hmm,i guess i'm afraid of the dark,but not always.

and i'm afraid of dying,in a stupid way.

for example,i'm not afraid of dying for my country or something,but be killed by some street criminal,or die in a car accident,makes me angry,and afraid.

I fear, QUIET darkness. Honestly when I get out of my car at night after hanging out with friends I will reach my door and my imagination will get the best of me and I will jump inside and slam the door behind me.

Big insects/animals. Like scorpions or snakes, I hate those

es. Though I smack maggots with my bare hands I cant stand being around poisonus (spelling?) creatures.

Yes that happens to me as well....and you get that prickly feeling on the back of your neck....

However..it is heights that I fear the most......

Death? Is just the eaiser part of life.....I am ready anytime....

Not that life is just that unbearable, but I can't be looking over my shoulder ever 10 seconds to enkoy it can I?

I'm afraid of reptiles.

-if I see a lizard (or something similar), I'd walk away from it.
-if I see a snake, I'll run away from it hardly feeling my legs.
-if I see a crocodile (thankfully this will never happen), I'll probably
pass out

I fear dead bodies, rotting corpses are a big fear of mine, obviously i have never seen a rotting human corpse but animals and insects. I do not fear spiders though. I fear heights quite a bit as well but only when safety is not guarantees like a wonky wooden ladder in a tall tower.

The only thing I'm slightly afraid of is the deep ocean, the thought that I can look down and not know that something may very well be looking back just bugs me.
