Default Order in the Curia Bill

In order to ensure the Prothalamos is kept orderly and is not made a mockery of, any member whom the Curator decides is creating bills for the purpose of spamming the Prothalamos shall face a CDEC review. If the CDEC shall agree with the Curator, the citizen shall have his citizenship suspended for one month.

Against, this is the job and the discreditional power of the Curator, already covered in the Constitution:

    So this is fairly unnecessary.

You do realize that any citizen can ask the CdeC to perform a review, right?

Damn, the fact I read the Curia about once every 6 months is showing...

But hey before you make fun of me, remember I took part in the Staff Rebellion of 20 January so you owe me.

Funny, when I got promoted to Junior Moderator someone accidentally took my citizenship. It took about 4 months for me to notice.

I am one of two whose main accounts were lost. I was resurrected, though! I doubt you were at my tomb awaiting the glorious victory!

What inspired this bill? Can you link us up, Farnan?

    Depends on who you ask:

To a Biologist - Random Neurons firing off.

To a Philosopher - Some babble that doesn't make sense and no one cares.

To a Fundamentalist Religious Leader - God

I am neither of those. So I should ask the question again, but I'm not hoping for a substantial reply.

    Anyway,

creating bills for the purpose of spamming the Prothalamos
    Define 'spam' please.

I might support if the wording were changed to provide for the removal of threads started by people I don't like.

Also I want pension for reviewing members. And dental.

I find it ironic that a bill proposal which aims to punish severely any spam in here, has been filled to the brim with spam in it's own thread.

I like it. I like you Farnan.

PS. I oppose this if it was serious, since in England we have a tradition that is the MONSTER RAVING LOONY PARTY who's sole purpose is to occasionally make politics fun. We also have communists like Tony Benn who provide us with endless laughs with their spam Parliamentary bills, like a maximum wage or a Republic.
    Oh, man. I love Benn.

    PPS.
    I wasn't kidding either.

I support your bill, with the provision that the review must also cover how good looking the proposer is. Lower than 5/10 is a revocation of his citizenship. Higher than 8 and he joins Hex.

I support Shyam's amendment with the addition that below 2 results in a permaban.

this is is not needed. If the Curator thinks a citizen is being a nuisance, or is making a mockery of his rank or the Curia, the Curator, or indeed ANY citizen can already refer him to the CdeC. Anyone doing the actions highlighted by the OP would be falling below the standards expected of a citizen anyway.

Such an act would rob us of that great Curial past time of ripping the piss out of bad bills. A bit counter productive imo.
