Rebel CTD

I'm getting a CTD every game I've played at the year 1082. It's on the Rebels' turn so I am convinced that it is either the cash CTD (I've tried adding cash, though, to no avail) or the ancillary problem. I haven't been able to find a working solution in several searches in TLR's forum (I've tried deleting the leadership ancillaries from the export_descr_ancillaries.txt file, again to no avail).

As always, help appreciated.

Not sure if this is the right log (It's the one inside the game folder, The_Long_Road.log), but this is what it says, "[system.rpt] [error] Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.".

1082 is when light mail arrives and that means somthing is proably wrong with the events file i have been trying to fix it on my own but to no avail.

Hmmm, that makes sense because it happens no matter what I do in-game. It seems like the scripts in this mod have a troubled history too, that is why I assumed it was a rebel cash problem or a problem with the ancillaries : /

Is there a way to disable that particular event and just have the game start with it? I mean, four turns difference is really nothing.

i tried that and started with a new campaign but i still get a crahs around 1200.
