Default Rejoice in the coming oblivion! For Chaos!

What was your bloodiest campaign while playing this mod? From turn 1 till your final sword strike. How many Men, Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, Uruks, and Evil Men have you laid low in the pursuit of your ambitions? Estimates are allowed, though measured figures are all the sweeter. In my first Gondor campaign I figure after all was said or done I estimate I killed between 750,000-1,000,000 Orcs, Haradrim, and Easterlings all together since campaign start. Mostly Orcs because in late game they breed full stacks like cockroaches...

in my campaign as the Silvan's my Elven Arrows struck down a (estimated) 250,000 Uruk-hai, Orc (mordor), Orc (OoftMM) and evil men (rhun, few harad). quite a blood bath, in an around turn 100 or so (lots of battles) mainly defensive in nature (though not always defending my own settlements).

Never counted before.... but should be interesting. If there are an average 2000 individuals in each army, and had an average 2 fights every turn, then it means 4000 kills every turn. Based upon this, there will be about 600.000 kills in 150 turns! Hmm.... NICE!

My God, you monsters! I think total in my last Haradrim campaign, it would be 100 - 150,000?

Wouldn't it be great if M2TW had Civilization IV style summary page in which you could see exactly this kind of things? In Civ that's almost the funniest part of game and makes the end of campaign very satisfying. I like to see the rise or fall of my empire afterwards. In M2TW you get only victory or defeat screen and that's all.
We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in: machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical, our cleverness hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little: More than machinery we need humanity; More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.

Though I never played Civilization IV I can imagen that would be nice. Maybe a sub mod to keep track of units lost/killed throughout a campaign.

A killtracker! I understand the mechanics of how it will operate but I don't have enough programming expertise to make one. There are killtrackers for Jedi Academy so why not Third Age?

I made about 1.000.000 casualties amongst the ranks of Mordor in my current GOndor campaign. I tried a diferent aproach and am only defending Gondor (With ease) from Mordor (Which declared war on Harad and destroyed them) and have taken out OotMM, Rohan, Eriador, HE, SE and the west Dwarves. Dale and the Dwarves are fighting Rhûn over 1 settlement (It changes hands every few turns. Great balancing KK).
My defensive battles are all the same. 2-4 stacks attack either E. Osgiliath or Cair Andros. I put my 2 bats of Citadel guard behind the gate and the rangers (Rest of my full stack) on the walls. Then I wait

    Okay guys

From the beginning, I always wondered how many casualties I have inflicted and how many casualties I have sustained. Due to frequent crashes to my computer- (Every 7 hours turned on), I had the courtesy to save a new file after every turn, and before a battle.

My first campaign ended with Gondor. It has 75 regions, stretching from the Gondor mainland and East towards Mordor, while incorporating Arnor and the entire Eregion. It finished at exactly 247 turns.

I took 3 hours and 30 minutes to calculate all major battles I have fought (Some battles I had to guess since it does not record almost every battle) I had inflicted an estimated. 1.34 million casualties. This is in Very Hard at both Campaign and Battle, while I have sustained around 200,000 casualties.

I was surprised by my achievement

i know that the game can track down units you lose although i suspect it does not include the ones annihilated in battle, just the ones deserting or bought off.
granted having a total number of kills would add a substantial ammount of flavour, yet i doubt this is something that can be done easily.
however, i would love traits like Trollslayer, Orcbane or Manflayer to be given to characters in order to denote their increased fighting prowess against a specific 'faction' (thinking on BfME here...)

    cheers

well, as Gondor, playing Vh/H, defensive character (started invading Mordor by trun 70), defending at bridges and narrow passes, I killed usually between3-5000 soldiers a battle(huge numbers), mostly 2-3 battles a turn until turn 115 (not finished and own mordor) :690'000-1'725'000 kills

If a take the middle; it makes 1'207'500 kills. For my losses, well, i just can supose arround 3-400'000.
Not a bad ratio i would say lol. Darn Olog hai and Mumakil, they blasted my ratio as they appeared...

tracking kills would be very possible if you had some sort of counter or program running in the background.

it would take a snapshot of each event window (of Battle Results) and tally them up.

This probably could only be done for players - but I suspect it could work for AI if it was used to monitor #'s of men at turn start, and turn end.

However this would be OUTSIDE of the game engine, and I'm sure it would definitely take up a little processing power - especially for the second option.
