I'm wondering has anyone considered making a mod based upon the series - Wheel of time by Robert jordan. Just an Idea.

I actually did quite a bit of work on one, but could never seem to get anyone interested that had skinning/unit skills. I havent touched it for months.

That's a shame really. The Wheel of Time could have made some really different factions and interesting "quests". Just make sure you keep your work saved, graverobbering never goes out of fashion.

I do hope that you find some talented people to assist you though, this idea is too good to just toss aside.

I am pretty much done with modding, I have some other things going on. But if there are some modders out there that want to use that stuff I will give it to them.

Saw the work GED did when he was involved with his own project. Anyone with the drive would benefit greatly from using GED's base work he has already completed. Had I not been involved with my own project, I would pick this back up.

It's pretty amazing what GED has done with it, pretty much doing a lot of the mod outside of the units themselves. Some clever skinning would be completely enough for getting it done and playable.

Who wouldn't love to see half of a giant statue stick out from the ground in Tremalking?
