Default Adding units to city look?

When you zoom to a city, you generally see town watch, a couple generals, a few captains, and peasents. I was wondering how I can add more units to this...like I want to see like urban cohort on that city map, or maybe horses....you get the jist of the idea...if there's a tutorial please post a link.

The file you want is descr_lbc_db.txt.

You can assign the model and the number of times it appears; but I believe the total must not exceed 100.

Also, the model added must be present in the descr_model_battle.txt

Both of these files are in the data folder of your Rome installation.

I just wanted to add things that I noticed while experimenting (for anyone that cares):

    1) You can go well beyond the 100 population limit for the city "zoom" option.
    2) Any faction's peasants, male or female, can be added.
    3) The only real limitations follow:
    a) Military skins default to a lowest common denominator; e.g., Samnite warriors, dismounted equites, and Hastati will all appear as... Hastati. The different officers do retain their unique look, however.
    b) Mounted units appear dismounted. Cities must have an ordnance against mounts.
    c) You cannot populate a city with a military unit it doesn't have access to. This was the only CTD issue I experienced. My game would crash every time I zoomed in on a unit wasn't supposed to have built; e.g., a Samnite Gladiator in a beginning Brutii city (unless the Samnite is not a Brutii-accessible Gladiator?).

    Have fun.
