How do I make a Movie of a replay? Like, turn it into an Mpeg that someone could watch?

Cube: I want a sign from god, in special godly ink, proving his existence.
Poets: What if you have to take it on Faith?
Cube: Bah, no deal. That's like a crack-head asking for $5 on Credit.
I don't think it's possible because a replay is a controllable, fully functional and navagational replica of the battle. Not a straight up recording of your exact camera movements.
I mean something that would just record as I went through the replay, to create a video.I don't think it's possible because a replay is a controllable, fully functional and navagational replica of the battle. Not a straight up recording of your exact camera movements.

Here's a guide for the movie cam for R:TW, as well as how to activate it. The movie cam basically allows you to get precise camera movements and removes the GUI. If you want to be able to watch it without starting up R:TW, however, you're going to have to use fraps to record your video ingame.
i use fraps, and it works pretty well, but the quality isn't that good.
Now i have created to movies, very good movies i must say.
Also, that movie cam thing, it doesn't work for me, i cant find that in the game.

Read the guide. You have to add the command line -movie_cam to your shortcut.
A quick walkthrough: Right click the shortcut you normally use to start R:TW. Go to properties, then add -movie_cam to the bit in quotation marks. It should look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -movie_cam.
Make sure that there's a space before the command line. If you want to have the editor activated as well, make it look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" enable_editor -movie_cam
Hope that helps.
yeah it works, i just forgot that i needed to load a replay to make the battle cam..
but inside there, it looks pretty complicated....
dont know how to control the "controls"
