    Default Adding infantry to parthia

    Basically whats the easiest way to add armanias infantry (heavy spearmen, legionaires,peltast) and cat archers to parthias unit roster (vanilla rome)

    Also if its possible add paved roads for them aswell.

    Paved roads.

    1. Add "parthia" to the list of factions paved roads are available for in export_descr_buildings.txt
    Code:
    paved_roads requires factions { carthaginian, egyptian, greek, parthia, roman, }
    2. text/export_buildings.txt
    Find this and change the red part with your description:
    Code:
    {paved_roads_parthia_desc}
    WARNING! This text should never appear on screen!

    {paved_roads_parthia_desc_short}
    WARNING! This text should never appear on screen!
    You will also need to add UI cards for the new building, in UI/eastern/buildings(/construction) or the placeholder roman barracks card will appear.

    Adding units is more involved,as you need both faction ownership added(parthia) to your units wanted in the export_descr_units.txt(find 'armenia' units via 'find' function in notepad)and add 'parthia' after armenia in unit ownership,ie "armenia, parthia " (do not add comma at end). You also must change the export_descr_buildings.txt to include parthia with armenia for unit ownership,and then you have to find the models in descr_model_battle.txt and add parthia to soldier model/textures etc as other factions have,easiest to just copy paste armenia list and rename as parthia. This is much work,so try to learn the Wiki,guides also-and back up your files in case you have to reinstall-I should know,reinstalled so many times from mistakes.

    I fixed the filenames in the above post, as there were incorrect. It is descr in the filename not description. You'll also need to add/copy unit and unit_info cards for parthia otherwise you get the grey peasant for the two cards.
