Different Races in Asia

Ok, im writing this as a response to some idiotic lebanese who called me a chink (i called him a sand but apparently, there are no deserts in lebanon ). Apparently, everyone in this country known as America think that everyone that looks Asian either comes from China, Japan, or Korea...

Now as you might already know, I'm Indonesian. I don't consider myself East Asian/Oriental (we look different really). Malays have darker skin and eyes are less slated.

Now two questions here. Do you guys think that we should be considered a different racial group and do you think we look East Asian.

I get tired when people think I'm Chinese all the freaking time. I drop kicked a prep kid in the back from being a racist prick and it further added to the stereotype that all asians know martial arts... Dammit! Why can't you people leave us alone.

You are too familiar with different nationalities. To you, differences are obvious, but to the rest of the world they really cannot tell the difference between a Siberian and a Burman.

You may not believe this, but in some cases, they cannot tell each other apart. I myself could not tell the difference between a Middle-Eastern complexion and a WE complexion until i was about 9.

I can usually pick out slavic or germanic or nordic features, but it's not 100%

to me thinking in "humanraces" is a bit sily

but yes for a european its easier to see the diffrence between a russian and a italian,
then see the diffrence between a chinese and a korean;
or between a Indian and a Indonesian;

actually no it not. It's Mediterranean so its climate is pretty much moderate. Besides, Lebanon is very rich in water, so it's very different from the rest of the middle eastern countries you'd be surprised.

Wouldn't that be like trying to tell the difference between a Spaniard an Italian and a Greek? Kinda pointless to quantify if you ask me.
