    Default Very interesting campaign

So I am playing as the Dwarves and it is turn 102 and very interesting things have happend. H/vh

Gondor,Silvan elves and Rohan have been destroyed by both Isengard and Mordor but Rohan has 1 city that I gave them Therons Hall so they do survive but just barely. The OotMM survived my dwarven wrath by taking Helms Deep from Rohan in a invasion. My western regions where lost to eriador and the High Elves who teamed up on me so I had to retreat through the mountians. Rhun just died off do to my assasins and there territory was taking by morder.I have fought a losing war against the OotMM ,Isengard and Mordor retaking the lands of the OotMM. I used the toggle_fow to see the map and I noticed something. It seems that in the west on the borders of the Eriador there are alot of stacks facing off everyturn between the the alliance of Eriador and the High elves trying to hold the forces of the OotMM and Isengard. I see that a huge army of mordor some 12 (most mostly full with 2 being half)stacks is heading towards the land of dale I predict they will be upon us within 7 turns. Dale has a huge army but are bankrupt and I have a small army do to the losses I suffered in the Misty Mountians but am rich. I know I cannot hold the forces of Morder and neither can Dale. Oh and Harad have 3 settlements in Gondor but arent doing anything.

I need advice on what to do. This is my funnest campaign yet.

I have come up with an idea. I will gather up all the forces I can and move through the Misty Moutians quickly as possible to make to the west and use my wealth to buy a city from either eriador or the High elves and make an alliance and make my stand there. While this may work I would be leaving my long time friend Dale to die.

    I need advice

I would post pics but I dont know how to, but I would if someone would show me how to.

    UPDATE

Ok After taking your guys advice this happend.

I did what I could to build up my military to make a stand. Dale was fighting them in open field battles and I knew they needed my help so I lead my men to fight with them. Severel turns of epic battles most being victory for me and dale my worst nightmare came. My spys reported 5 more stacks of Mordor on there way to Dale and I's land. Worst is there where 12 units of Olog Hia total in all the stacks. We tryd to do our best to fight them but in the end of a 5 stack battle we won but barely. My ally Dale had lost its king to the battle, 2 of his generals and his entire army was crushed. My army fought hard and won in the end but the losses where to great. I won but at a horrific cost. There are still probly 3 stracks of Mordor an left and 2 more on the way. I cant put men out fast enough to fight them. I am moving through the mountians to the western alliance. I can only hope dale can hold them off long enough for me to survive.

Update: Its turn 141 and Eriador and the High Elves are surviving. Harad is still in active but all the other forces of evil are pushing hard. I am now going to make an army and push either the front lines with Eriador and the HE or the mountians. The time of the Dwarves has come! Oh and Rohan is seems to be building an army so that is good.

I need some advice on which front to push.

    Ok update:

The attack on the Mountians have been slow and hard but working. I have the a little more then half the mountians and am moving towards Moria. Eriador and the High Elves are not having such luck. They are being pushed back, one of the High Elf citys is under attack atm. Rohan is building up a army but arent doing anything with it and are bankrupt again.

Once I take the mountians I am heading to Isengard and cutting the borders in half. Which should be rather easy because they are hardly garrisoned

Nice campaign! I like those ones when you face almost certain defeat and you need to survive by all means, too bad I never get to this part , I really like being the defending force.

How did Eriador and High Elves killed you? Arent you playing version 1.1?

About screenshots, search Fraps in google, its easy and friendly.

I kinda pissed off the High Elves and Eriador but trying to capture it all with 1 stack and a half. I underestimated them.
The AI is like a retarded overwieght child. He realy want all those fries, he just does not know how to get them. http://img1.coolspacetricks.com/imag...unny/81776.gif

lol just abit sounds like a caotic campaign, if your rich just ammas a huge army and go straight for mordor, anything you capture sack it destroy all the building and leave it, the enemy will take it back but it will be more or less ussles for ages, this will also keep you rich and let you build plenty more stacks to whoop everyone with if wanted to.

Or capture some settlements sell them cheap to high elves and eriador in exchange for trivial gold per turn plus alliance military access etcetera sack the towns when you capture them and even after sell all the buildings, wait for mordor /isengard to lose a big battle in one of your forts then take an army and go rampage across there mape they will follow giving you some build up time.

1.1 is not enough, even it's better in limiting the wars between Free People. You must use the 'Good vs Evil' submod to prevent these wars.

If the stacks are this consistent on hard I cant imagen how it would be on VH. To many battles for my taste.

Update: Trying to get through the mountians proved disasterous. I had 1 stack of my most elite go through the mountians while the rest stayed behind to fight with Dale. I had to fight my way through alot of goblins but I made it to the what I thought the High Elf land. Soon as I got there with half of my stack in tact I was meant with 1 stack of isenguard. I fought my way to the Eriador and bribed a settlement and made an alliance with both the HE and Eriador. Just in time because 2 turns later Dale was destroyed and my settlements lost.

It is here I make my stand! It is here I will fight! It is here I will die.

First you lost your west regions and stayed in the east, then you lost your east regions and you managed to take one in the west .

Keep it up, I want to hear if you High Elves and Eriador will be able to hold against the vast power of evil.

Well, what are you going to do next?
Have you got room to expand without having to attack your new allies?
I think now it would be advisable to regroup and fortify before you go on the offensive again, with only one settlement you can't afford screwing it up.

Mountains! in my opinion the OotMM are the biggest threat. Crossbowmen is the key unit against them.

And the mountains give you an excellent position for an attack on Isengard.
