Losing money as England right from the start

I recently re-installed MTW II with Stainless Steel. I wanted to try a campaign with England. I have installed SS version 6.1, RR-RC april 8 with RR_RC Campaign patch april 23 and Really bad Ai v 0.88 RR-RC + AI stakes deployment. Strange thing is that I start the game with a huge minus in my treasury, it is around -160K, and I lose like 100K every turn. What is the matter? It's really strange I think

yes I seem to remember having the same problem.

really this belongs in the RR/RC thread.

Do you have Vista - I suspect the problem was caused by files not being properly installed.
(If you do have Vista turn off UAC and make sure the folders in the SEGA folder are not read-only.)

Then try re-installing.
