The Reliability of your local News Channels!
Many of us, especially those in the U.S., are bombarded day to day by the biased opinons, of the Mega news networks, such as CNN and FOX news.
This thread has been created, in an order to discuss, how the members of this site feel about some of there local News networks!
Do you consider them Reliable?
If not, are they atleast more Reliable than CNN or FOX?
What ARE your local News Networks?
How biased are they? If at all!
Etc.
Channel 19 News
For me, my local News Network, is Channel 19 News, it is a Cleveland centered News Network, that will often cover the happenings of the wider world. And of course the events of in and around the Greater Cleveland area.
I have a Father, who had worked at said News Network for some 30 years, and from his opinon, and from watching it myself, i have come to find it to be a less than reliable source. It does okay on local sources activities, covering the local crimes, accidents, etc.
But from time to time, i feel as though there coverage of a story is less than adequate. In my situation it's not really that there biased (They do rather well at not being Biased) it's the lack of information brought in on some of the most local subjects. This usually leads to many Half-assed reports per day...
Oh well thats my opion on my Local News Network! How bout yours!
(Im especially intrested in the Local News Netwokrs of those outside the U.S.)
I wanna lie, lie to myself, myself and someone else. Cause it’s the lying that hurts, and it’s the hurt that lets me know I’m alive.”

Re: The Reliability of your local News Channels!
Right here the main news provider is Grupo Clarin, a multimedia company that owns TV channels, Newspapers and radio stations.
There are other media companies but Clarin is the biggest one.
They are fairly reliable, even more now that they are in some kind of "war" with the government.
