    Icon4 Dunedain Rangers Fix

    Hi all, i'm aware that a lot of people besides me have (probably) been having problems with the Dunedain Rangers ie the graphic spike (not too sure of the technical term), and this isn't a fix as such, rather a quick solution until the next patch comes.

    Basically this just makes the Dunedain Rangers look like the Ithilien Rangers, because with the exception of the white tree of gondor on some of the Ithilien Rangers, that's what i imagine they would look like (i'm basing this on the lord of the Rings:The Third Age rpg game it had a dunedain ranger who looked like the ithilien ones)

    anyways, go to C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age\data\unit_models
    and open up unit_models with notepad and then find this

    now on the battle map they look like Ithilien Rangers!
    apologies if anyone has started similar threads, this seems to me to be the easiest solution of having working Dunedain Rangers (i know it's kind of obvious a solution to anyone with the technical know how, but i hope that this will help a lot of the people without)

    If people isnt over the minimum standard of living... lower the standard..
    if there is too much poverty in a sociaty, lower the poverty line... my qoutes... comment them if you will...

    np, it's only a temporary solution til the next patch comes out, but i couldn't play as eriador with broken rangers (and i prefer the ithilien ones anyways haha)

    what to open in unit_models folder????????
    i got 4 folders in it and this battle_models.modeldb
    plz help
