Hot Pink trees on the campaign map

In several spots on the campaign map the trees have turned hot pink. I've tried reinstalling EB from a clean RTW 1.5 install but nothing seems to work. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

IIRC, this problem is a video card thing. Some video cards aren't compatible with the graphics or something. Try downloading and updating your video card drivers from the manufacturer's website.

I did a forum search over at that Org. This may be related, though it is for an older version of EB:

I also found somethings saying the certain Nvidea cards don't render trees correctly. That could also be your problem, though new drivers could fix that.
