    Icon5 New guy, need help

    I recently downloaded the mod, and began playing as the romans.

    First off, brilliant mod. Landscape looks great, enemies play smart and even the free people are a tough fight (but not invincible, making it fun).

    But there seem to be a bajillion new mechanics which are rather confusing for a new-comer. I was wondering where can I find a FAQ, guide, or something for these.

    For example, the Exterminate turning into Relocate population option. Where does it send them? or is it simply a new name, and lowers the population the same?

    What's the diffrence between the types of recruitable generals (so far, 3 of them)?

    And lastly, building the "town hall" tree of building has such an influence on health, happiness, trade, growth... pretty much everything. It also seems to change according to building I have in the city... What the system behind this?

    And the "Relocate" buttton does the same as the old "Exterminate".
    As for the generals. There are the Governor generals. You recruit them and put in the city to be the governors. They can aqcuire traits, just like the family members, thus providing some bonuses in public order, trade etc. The other generals are the ones who can lead your armies (they have bodyguards like family members).
    I'm sittin' here completely surrounded by no beer.

    Thanks! That explains most of the stuff here.

    However, there seems to be very little explanation of the new buildings in the FAQs. I looked on the wiki, guide, threads...

    How does the monument thing work?
    Why the changes to the town hall traits? Are they really related to the buildings?

    I guess that the best way to get to know new buildings is to run the game, click on one of your cities, enter the building browser and read the descriptions of the buildings (that's how I did it when I started to play this mod ).
    The monuments work something like temples. You start with building the monument base, and then you can upgrade it in the chosen way. You can build Triumphal Arches, Collonaded Streets etc. Each of these provide different bonuses like increasing public order, adding morale to soldiers recruited in the city or giving you extra money from trade.
    As for the town halls, I think that someone of the RS Team has explained it in one of the threads, don't remember in which one
