Faction symbols ingame

Hello,
I'm making a mod. And added more factions. I accomplised the faction selection menu with the extra symbols but when i'm in the game the scroll with faction rankings has symbols in a strange order. How do I change this?

And I've a hard time to add new faction symbols into the sd files using the converter or using the .xml files. I read the tutorials but they will not change I get each time diverend symbols or invisible pictures... I just changed the picture in the tga file and change the name and keep the coordinates the same in the xml file.

You dont need to change the name, only add a name if your adding extra symbols into the .tga
I'm not sure exactly what your problem is, but if you like, you can use my Expanded Americas 3.1 patch. It probably contains everything you need.

So if I've the 2 .sd files with their .xml files I can just add the lines
<page file="(new).tga" width="(?)" height="(?)" force32bit="0"/>
<sprite index="345" name="SMALL_FACTION_LOGO_KALMAR_UNION" page="4" left="38" right="69" top="18" bottom="48" x_offset="0" y_offset="0" alpha="1" cursor="0"/>

With offcourse the correct changes and it will change the .sd files?

And my second problem was: when you start a campaign and you are in the strategy map, you open de faction rankings scroll with the statics of all the factions, the little symbols are messed up. I get:
First line just nice with all symbols
2nd line only 1 symbol
3rd line again all symbols but a bit outside the scroll area
4th line 2 symbols and these 2 are not selecteble anymore
