    Default SS 6.0 unspecified error

    Hello to everyone.
I have the Kingdoms expansion installed in my Vista computer and also installed SS 6.0. Every time I load a battle, the game crashes and appears the ususal message; medieval encountered an unspecified .... The game runs great on campaign map. I read that I should uncheck the read-only button and apply changes but it comes back with the button checked again. It tried uninstalling the mod and do it again, but still the same error appears on the battle map. Any ideas?

    1. Please post all bugs in the bug reports subforum.

    2. Did you install both parts 1 & 2 of 6.0? And you should also install the 6.1 patch.

    Zmaj,
    R U using 6.1 or 6.2?
Which sub mods are you using?
    XP or Vista?
When you installed, please confirm that you installed 6.0, Patch 6.1?(Recommended to install each times 2)

Yes, I installed both versions and also patch 6.1 with the same results. Why is this?

    Zmaj & Medievaler,

It is recommended that you instal each part twice as the installer can miss things. So I instal 6.0 pt 1 x2, then pt 2 x 2, then 6.1 x 2, and for that matter any sub mods. You might also want to turn off the advisor, this to can cause CTD's.

    Zmaj,

I attach a couple of links for 6.2, they are
    :http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=204562
basic 6.2 by Gracul, with no sub mods
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=197224
Point Blank's 6.2 with many sub mods, this sub mod is absolutely awesome

I did it. Installed each part 2 times, then the patch twice and restarted my compuet, but still the same error. I'm using Vista. if I didn't mention it.
