    Default real rise of parsa

    I want to play as a greek faction and defend myself against the persians. now, will the AI of Parsa also be aggressive and beat the others as it is meant to be when controlled by human?

    Or do i have to raise the money they get each turn, so that it will be a matter of time they conquer everything up to Greece?
    How can this be done anyways?

    The real rise of Persia almost only occurs if a skilled royal family is in complete control of the Persian faction. Unfortunately, the AI is just not cunning enough to pull off what Cyrus did. Giving them extra money every now and then might do the trick though

    Thanks for the quick answer!
    instead of me having to give them money out of my purse during the game; can I change this in the file somewhere? Is there like a "kings purse" for this very faction?

    or make script that gives them some free units every turn

    no can do, I'm not a modder...
    only know the text files;

    I thought of giving them cheaper units, or making some buildings bring more money (but his will help every faction building it)
    Isn't there a way to give only one faction more money each turn?

    You can use the in-game command line to do the trick.
    To make it show up, use the tilde button, near your ESC-button. It has the signs ` and ~ on it for most keyboards.
    Then type "add_money parthia 30000" (without the quotation marks) and press enter. You can do this more than once, you can repeat the same command by pressing the Up key on your keyboard and then enter.
    Use the tilde button again to make the console disappear.

    Will start a new campaign now. Though I just read there will be a new version released "soon"!

    Oh there's plenty of time to finish your current campaign, don't worry Hope the Persians will kick your a** now!

    well, I've not started yet, actually!
    I will wait for the release of 3.0!

    it gives me an error by the way: parthia: faction not recognised!

    Oh actually I think it should be add_money parthia, 30000 (note the comma). Hope that helps!

    Plenty of time to finish a campaign! NOO!! That means theres....*counts fingers...ignites bunson burner...loads calculator...works the punch cards..* a long time to go!

    So how is the update goin, Nero? You know, RoP is my favorite Rtw mod *wink wink*

    Actually I'm working around the clock on something that we'll preview after the Baktrian army has been previewed. Just takes some time to complete, so I'm quite sure everybody will like it
