Replace the word "script" with the word "texture", and it will be how I am feeling now... It's just too much work and not enough help and/or feedback. People do generally tire more from the work that goes without visible results, quickly being burned out... I suppose actually
playing some games should set the brains straight.
Hilarious thing here... Jackson RR24,
at $1100, or around $1200 with case (you can click on the link to see the prices on Google), is quite a decent purchase — it's got all the features I need "out-of-the-box", looks nice, and has Japanese craftsmanship to boot (compared to cheaper Chinese, Korean or Indonesian-made guitars). I thought I could save just a little bit more and get it, instead of the B.C. Rich I had in mind before, yet the thing is...
I notice the white beauty at the local shop and ask the sales guy there about the price... And he tells me (with a proud look) that, as it is in a "slightly used" (read: "not comletely ruined") state, it'll go for... $1700. Bingo! A used guitar half the price up! Not believing my ears, I check
their website — and yeah, they got used $1100 axe priced at $1700. Honestly, I don't know — am I supposed to laugh, or to cry about it?
P.S.
The other shops either do not deal with Jackson Guitars, or do not have any real stuff, only "beginner" buckets of bolts made of plywood somewhere in Honduras... If Rock is Dead elsewhere, here it has completely decayed.
