I refuse to be pidgeonholed into a specific category. A good game is a good game. I don't care what year they are from.

I have just as much fun playing System Shock 2, Doom, Lego Island, and Tie Fighter, as I do playing Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 4.

I have a few games from before 2000 that I'd play, only my graphics card is too new for them

I like the old Sim games, Ocarina of Time is the best game EVER. I also like Assassin's Creed and inFAMOUS.
I thought about writing something clever, but then I remembered I'm not clever enough.

I don't like much except 1998-2001 games, then about 2005 and onwards. It seems like before the games sucked, and after 2001 they started sucking again until about 05 where we started getting some cool games again.

    2000 isn't old school.

The 70's and 80's are old school. And Early to mid 90's I guess.

Home Alone on the SEGA MegaDrive is real old school. And I play that every Christmas.

I still have Bitmap Brother's game called "Z" from 1994. Best RTS of the 90s Command and Conquer can kiss my rump. Red Baron II and Red Baron 3D 1995 and 1997. I've been playing Video games since before Super Nintendo, my brother had a Nintendo, I played Paper Boy a lot and Duck Hunt, Mario games. Super Nintendo I was really big into Mario Kart and Secret of Mana, then Marioa RPG. Nintendo 64 came next Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Perfect Dark, BlastCorps, Wave Race, PilotWing, StarFox 64, Harvest Moon 64 (Harvest Moon is so great) We also had a PS1 and Sega, but they were not the major gaming platforms my brother bought games on. Dreamcast I loved, though sadly never owned, PS2 was perhaps the first video game console "I" personally bought, I still have it in fact and it works great still. I bought my own PC a few years ago, had someone build it for me, I was so giddy then about it. Now I actually know enough to build one myself, though I'm not the smartest person on what to buy to build it, since my first attempt failed. This PC WORKS! Though it was outdated when I built it, and I was ripped off price wise.

I own a PS3 now, and this computer, my PS2 is in the box sleeping since my version of the PS3 can play PS1/PS2 games as well, no need to use my old PS2, I want it to live on forever, and ever, it will sleep and never be broken by little gremlins hands.

Sums up my gaming life. It was almost forced on me since I lived on a 5 land road, so going outside was forbidden, mother was very scared I'd get hit by a car. Not until Highschool did I ever form a social life, then after it went down hill. Thanks Mom.

As much as I loved the old games, for the most part they pale in comparison to today's games in my opinion. Could never go back to a full old school lineup.
