what if they made a small Ent faction, with just 2 units: Ent bodyguard, Ent's(who throw rocks then charge). they would make it so they will not betray allies, but also that at a certain turn isengard will invade fangorn and the ents will strike back. epic win.
I wonder what kind of their buildings. Some mercenary units are ok, but i never think about a faction.
We must have Ents. Maybe even their own faction.

Cool stuff.
Despite all the lore and gameplay issues I can see, having a middle-earth without ents is kind of "meh". They played a decisive role during the war of the ring, and deserved to appear.
Now, the question is "how to depict them in game ?". I personally think they deserve their own minor non playable faction, or to be scripted to appear in some lands when the evil factions get too strong, but I'm pretty sure the team already has its own ideas.

King Kong you are the Champion!
could it be so, that in year Isengard fell (3017? i don't remember), an Ent Faction emerges in Fangorn, and an army full of Ents is scripted to attack Isengard in full force? This is fully lore acceptable.
Or simply a host of Ents under control of High/Silvan Elves.
KK...
I just hope they're restricted to Fangorn. Ents in Mordor would break the immersion for me.![]()
