Idea for including Arya Stark

Because Stannis gets the shadows and Joffery gets the sorrowful men as assassins, couldn't the Starks have a script giving them an assassin with Arya's picture and named Arya Stark to go kill one person.

Or there could be a chance of one of the people on Arya's "list" getting killed randomly and a script coming up that they were assassinated by a mysterious person who fled across the sea.

Including some more of the major characters is important to the game.

Also, Sansa could start married to Tyrion, going with the novel at the time that the game seems to start. You could also put in a script that goes to the starks at the beginning of the game that says although you sent Sansa to marry Tyrion, she joined him with his faction. (I believe that this has a chance of happening when you marry princesses off to anyone)

I would also like to see more characters included, although I'm not sure if this is the best way to do it. Personally I was wondering if it is possible to create a trait or ancillary which reduces the movement points of a character to (nearly) zero? That way you could include Hoster Tully dying in Riverrun, Doran Martell paralysed by gout (instead of chasing Lannister scum across Westeros, fun but totaly unbelievable), Bran Stark crippled and little Bobby Arryn epileptic/obsessed by mommy's breasts. Also Sansa Stark could be camping near King's Landing with no possibility of going anywhere, waiting for a knight in shiny armour to come and "rescue" her. Maybe you could remove this restriction for her when Stark/Tully captures the capital or Joffrey's faction is destroyed?

Just an idea, I really know nothing at all about modding, so I hope I'm not annoying anybody with crazy suggestions.

You can create characters which have no movement. We're redoing character traits for about half of them, basically, anyway so this needs looking into, Aranistar.

I'm all for including as many book characters as possible but think we should be careful about cramming them into roles that don't fit. I really don't see Arya or Sansa having a place in this mod.

I agree with you Aranistar about custom traits for some characters. We'll probably have a "broken" trait for Bran and a "gout" trait for Doran Martell that limit their movement and abilities.

Arya Stark as an Assasin is a bad idea, in my opinion. Though I think that Sansa should be added to the game. Perhaps as a princess near king's landing?

as far as I know you can't make a princess become a 'hostage' of another faction, so surely that wouldn't quite work. Maybehave her as an ancillary that can be gained by defeating the general that currently has her?
