Amendment - Immigrants are eligible for Presidential candidation

Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution.

A Presidential candidate must:

• be a natural born citizen of the United States;
• be at least thirty-five years old;
• have been a permanent resident in the United States for at least fourteen years.

Reasoning:
As you know, I'm an immigrant. I came over here as an immigrant, and what gave me the opportunities, what made me to be here today, is the open arms of Americans. I have been received. I have been adopted by America. I won Mr. Olympia seven times. I became one of the biggest movie star in history. Then I became the Governator of the Golden State. Everything I have, my career, my success, my family, I owe to America. Public service improves the lives and the world around you, it's greatest reward is the enrichment and new meaning it will bring your own life. One day I will lead this great nation to victory and even more greatness. The Constitution needs to be amended so that immigrants can become Presidents. Are you with me?

I'd support removing the natural born citizen part removed, if the time spent living in the US is lengthened. I think around 20 years would be good, because then that would be more than half of the 35-year old requirement, although it could be argued that since most presidents were older than 35 when elected the length spent in the US should be even longer than 20 years. For me, living in the US seems like a much better way to insure loyalty than simply being born here.
