Well the title says is all. I'm looking for a mod that removes the events that unlocks the improved barracks and the high tier units. I've read that it's supposed to be somewhere but I cannot find it anywhere... Any help would be appreciated.

Simple enough to do yourself. Just edit your export_descr_buildings.txt and remove the conditions:
and event_counter large_city_barracks 1
and event_counter huge_city_barracks 1
Then you don't have to wait for the events to construct the barracks.

I know, what you suggested doesn't remove the events but adjust the conditions. I want to get rid of it completely from its roots.
Haha you have 'Artifices' in different areas. I for one never felt really comfortable at scripting and besides I recently jumped into the M2TW scene a month ago or so.

I always thought of an artifex as a KK like god of M2tw and all knowing lol.
I adjusted the events so they come at turns 8-10 and 16-18 (approx I think) I found this a nice amount that still gave me all the units in a very timely fashion.
Yes indeed. The descr_events.txt and export_descr_buildings.txt need to be altered. And I deleted all entries and events unlocking the new barracks. Now Gondor has easy access to the popular units in Minas Tirith (only has to build one improved barracks and archery) and in my campaign (tested the campaign until turn 51) and Gondor and Mordor are fairly evenly matched now. Rohan is still having a bit of trouble with Isengard.
Anyway the results may be different when restarting the campaign. Anyway I'll upload the files for anyone who's interested and not bothered changing things themselves.
Just copy and paste in your Third Age folder.

thanks for sharing. i find this part fun killing and will remove it too.
I downloaded the events file that you put on here, and installed it into the relevent folders, yet it doesnt seem to work, infact its broken my campaign. I cant start a new campaign at all with any of the fractions.
Also, silly me didnt back up the files i copied overwould it be possible if someone had a back up copy of those files that i can use?
I just realised i had the Unique buildings mod installed. Thats probably why.

Haha that's most certainly the cause of your broken campaign
I don't know what files the unique buildings mod replaces. But if it's a lot I think you're better off with reinstalling TATW and the patches altogether?
