Modding the mod (Birthing system)
Hello,
One of my house rules that I use is no adoptions nor man of the hour. Unfortunately this exacerbates the birthing system problems. I am looking to mod dlv so that I can play without having to constantly reload end of turns so that I get the births that I am looking for. If you know of a sub mod or know how I can do this your help would be appreciated.
1) The game counts your current generals/governors AND the children then compares that to the number of provinces you have when the ratio is 1:1 the amount of kids you can have and brides for your bachelors slows to a crawl. I want to change that ratio.
2) I really really dislike princesses. I would like to make it so that men are born 90% of the time.
3) I have played games where I have a princess that I am loathe to marry because I don't want her kids sullying my bloodlines but this creates a problem. The game absolutely will not offer your bachelors wives until that princess is married first.
Any and all suggestions as to where I need to look or what I need to do to get started on this would be very much appreciated.

Re: Modding the mod (Birthing system)
FURIN'S tips are the best on this issue. Also look at my tips in the strategy guide in the 'Getting Started' section...
But if you want really deep strategy on this. Go to the tips sticky... There are some in there. If you need more click on Furin's threads on his profile....Search his history of threads he created. Should be really good help there.... Certainly better than someone trying to explain it to you on this thread.
Hope that helps.
