You lucky,lucky American's.
Here is the trailer for the new series which will be aired in the U.S.A sometime this year.
I loved the original and this one looks like it may do the 1980's cult classic series justice.

Used to scare the hell out of me as a kid. Had no idea there was a remake.

That looks really good especially for a remake![]()
Know where you're going in life . . . you may already be there!
I just peed myself a little.
i dont remember V, but my parents said i used to watch every episode when i was very young.
alls i remember are cartoons from those days, but i look forward to watching it again, havent bothered getting the dvd because its old, and old movies are often disapointing when you are used to new-age techniques.
hopefully this will get put out on dvd too so the rest of the world can enjoy sci fi shows that are increasingly rare
It had a baby with a lizard tongue in it. That's pretty much the only thing I remember about V. That and that the humans gassed the aliens off the planet in a victory disturbingly reminiscent of the Nazi final solution. Messed up stuff.

Oh, this made my day. I really don't think they can do any worse than the campyness of the original which I loved so much. It really was one of my favorite shows. The cast looks interesting and I wonder how they're going to represent the reptilian side.

David Icke would be better. The perfect deception.

you know i actually remember a few things now that ive seen those suits. they tried to take the clouds as well didnt they those lizard people?
Never having seen the original, (have to admit never knowing about the original), this is definitely welcome.
Beast hiding underneath a human form and all those people in service of those beasts... chilling.

I am offended that the producers kept the idea that people would be horrified that the Visitors were reptilian. If the USA can elect a mixed race, not so secret (ex?) islamic metrosexual with a tenuous claim on US citizenship, then certainly open human-lizard friendship, alliance and love isn't much of a stretch for a fictional story.

I am surprised by the large amount of people have not seen or even heard about original... hmm.
Oh well, this looks nice.
