    Default Patience is a virtue

I love this mod but I'm a bit worried. I lurk on this board everyday, but I haven't seen a lot of activity lately - especially from Quinn. I am wondering if ya'll are still working on ver 3.5? Hopefully ya'll are just taking a well deserved vacation from your real jobs. Anyway, I am looking forward to updates whenever they come!

3.4 wasn't that long ago... Although I haven't seen Quinn in a while either. He does have a real life though, and that takes precedence.

My activity here has stalled recently. I have been busy with other games and other TW mods for the last few months. I am thinking about returning to EXRM and starting some new campaigns, but I am also kind of waiting for the next update.

An update generally takes quite some time to finish - compare the time to go from 3.3 to 3.4 ... I advise you start a 3.4 campaign!

I wasn't so concerned as to how quickly 3.5 will be ready. I am just simply concerned that the volume of chatter has diminished significantly. I like to keep up with the ideas that the bright minds working on this mod toss around. When there isn't talk for a good while I get scared that they have stopped working on it.

I think we can use this time to learn more about modding, so we can help more with ExRM, and mods in general for that matter.

I truely wish that I could help to mod some TW games. Unfortunatly, computer programing, code, and scripting are all alien to me. I can help playtest though. I am going to start playing EXRM more often and I will post about my experiances.

Didn't mean to double post but...

I'm currently playing an Illyrian campaign on h/h. I have had some battles with the Macadonians in the begining, but now, after I have taken their capital, they are putting up little resistance. Its only 272 BC and when I toggle_fow I see that AI factions have expanded into rebel territory, but there are very few standing armies, and small garrisons. If I continue to play can I expect a tougher fight? Will the AI develop it economy and military to prevent human steamroll? Thanks.

On H/H especially the smaller nations need much more time to spread out, since the rebell garrisons are quite tought in ExRM. I know this feeling, but i then started a game with VH campaign difficulty. Well, the result is much better, but the frakinī Ptoleys steamrolled everything till 250 It could have been Seleucinds or someone else, but i tried to make some changes in the EDU and screwed up the Romans so badly, that they got slaughtered by Epirotes and Gauls...
Concerning the Illyrians, they are in a perfect position, when played by a human of course, to blitz Romans, Greeks and Gauls, and especially Macs in 3.4 ExRM, since they donīt have their initial holdins in Pella and Thesallonika etc. and have to reconquer their native settlements. But when they done this once, they got Royal barracks in there and can steamroll quite well, if the Greeks donīt attack them too soon.

So, if you want more fighting and really agressive AI, wich absolutly brocken diplomathy howewer, you should play VH campaign difficulty. At least, there is "force diplomathy" that can be used some times.

The latest one, 3.4.1, has a seriously nerfed Macedon. Delete the ExRM folder first, then install 3.4.1.

Ok thanks, reinstalling now. I will let you know how my next campaign as Illyria goes. It will probably be much easier with the Macedonian threat nuetralized.
