Imperial vs Republican legions

Sorry guys, I get confused . I was looking in many topics in this forum but couldn't find an answer...
Could somebody please explain me what kind of new units I'll get after Marian reforms ?

Is it the republican legions or the imperial legions ?

Sounds like it should be an Imperial legion to me, but thats just from an online source.

both appear after marian reforms, however imperial replace republican in the highest level barracks building

After Marius reforms you will get the republicans first as you will build the republican barracks first. After upgrading (building) the imperial barracks you will be able to recruit imperial legionairs.
