Where are the banners???

I can't see the banners in battlefield, even after had set "show_banners = 1". And when i came and found some screenshots in this forum, i can't see any banners too. It's the game, or just me?

the modders took off banners, why you want them back, they are so unrealistic

at the beginning i also wanted them back but after a while it is really better without them

It's hard to realize which enemy units are routing and don't need to care about them any more, or when they come back and fight again. Sometime, in bad weather and terrain (forest, a huge town/castle, in a rainstorm night...), i can't find last enemy soldiers that routing somewhere in the battle map, even i can see them in the little map on the left bottom (I want to kill the last one ). Why do the modders let the gamers choose if they want them turn on or off? If you don't like them, you can go to .CFG file and change "show_banner = 0"
