    Hello Heartbraker,

    I just looked into your three new files and you could try this:

    rename > db/faction_tables/unlocked_factions

    Then the table doesn't replace the IS factions table.

    For the multiplayer issue copy your file to a new name and try to change the "pack-type" from "mod" to "patch".

    "mod-pack-type" files don't get loaded for MP, but "patch-pack" type do. Probably both multiplayer users need to have the same file...

    I have to test that with AUM 2.3 too.

    Updated the mod added a couple of factions so now the list is maxed out and a few more units.

    All of the units featured in my mod were already in the game, but unavailable in custom battle. What I'm trying to say is that I didn't design these units. Personally, I always thought those were helmets.

    No, they still haven't fixed that bug. I fixed it in my mod by copying the unit's entry in the units_stats_land file, replacing the missing limber and caisson entries, and renaming the table as unlocked_units_stats_land in my mod. The fixed unit in my mod overwrites the games original unit and only that unit. Just to clarify, the fixed Marine artillery is the only row in unlocked_units_stats_land.

    I've got LtChamber's File Manager and I've opened the .pack file with it, but I have no idea what to do next . How do you 'activate' a mod? If it's not simple, could anybody point me in the right direction to a guide? I tried to find one but couldn't

    First off, are you sure you haven't confused the mod manager with the pack file manager?

    Well, if you haven't here is what you need to do. Open the mod manager, and follow the directions on the picture bellow.



    Show all pack types displays all the pack files in the Data folder of empire
    Show vanilla conflicts displays all the conflicts a mod has with the vanilla game (Almost all mods have conflicts with the vanilla game this is completely normal.)

    No, but you can easily change that. To change which factions of the mod are available open the mod with LtChambers' Pack File Manager v1.1b and go to db>factions_tables>factions scroll over to where the column reads Early availability and change to True for land battles and change Late availability to True for naval battles. I have maxed out the number of factions available so you will need to change one of the factions already available from true to false in the early availability column.

    I've just loaded the unlocker and it works really well. I'm using it for glorious custom battles with Darthmod v2. Good work

    Iam glad to hear that you enjoy the mod and that it works for Darthmod.

    If people could tell me which major mods my mod is compatible or not compatible with I would be very thankful. So far there only seems to be problems with the faction unlocker and IS mod

    Default New Units of the West Problem

    I had the mod Custom battle unit & Faction unlocker on and i then bought the new 14 units from steam, now it has taken the mod away. I have reinstalled it, i click it on mod manager start empire and there are only the crummy 12 factions. I would rather have it back than the 14 units, please help.
