Predator II

Ok so I was sat last night watching Predator II (Not as good as the first one). And did anyone else notice when Danny Glover was in the Predators space ship when he went up to the wall with all the skulls on it there was an Alien skull their off the film Aliens lol.

Also when he manages to kill the Predator those other Predators appear and one of them throws him an old Flintlock gun and says in a very Predator way "Take It" and on the gun it says someones name and the date 1715, so that would make one hell of a movie lol Predators taking on Pirates lol

I have Predator 2 on DVD. It's decent, though obviously not as good as the first Predator.
I lol at the fact that one time, they were playing it on the television sets at a local seafood restaurant. Unedited.

And, yes, the xenomorph skull thing was intentional. At the time, there were comics being published by Dark Horse about the Aliens and Predator universes, and in 1989 they had one where they merged. Predator 2's cameo of the alien skull was just a logical outgrowth of that based off that.

Well, as we all know, said movie was stuck in development hell for over a decade. Meanwhile Aliens Versus Predator came unto its own with a side-scrolling Super Nintendo game in 1993, a few first-person shooters, a real-time strategy game, and vastly more comic books during the 1990's. It was a veritable golden age of AvP brainstorming.

Finally, by 2004, they managed to get the thing running again and cranked out a decent movie; not a great one, but it was okay. But then AvP:R came out a couple years later and dicked the whole thing up. >_<

Strange coincidence. I saw the first Predator yesterday, wanted some kick ass action again. You know, Jesse Ventura with Minigun..
