..yeah, what is it going to be?
What do you think her next song will be?

I'm not much of a Susan Boyle fan, though I respect her, but let's keep the "Do you like S. boyle" question out of this thread. Here we'll just try to guess what song she will use in the final; might be fun.

Her first song was from a musical. It was a solo, and sang by a female.
Her second song was also from a musical. It was also a solo, and also sang by a woman.
I'm seeing a parallel here. She sang twice the most famous solo song from a musical (I dreamed a dream - Memory).

So is the next song also going to be a solo, from a musical, by a woman, and the most famous song of that musical?

Thus, my guess will be Don't Cry for me Argentina from the musical Evita. However, I hope she doesn't pick this song, as it isn't a song as epic as the previous two, in my opinion.

Other famous musical, to name one, would be Phantom of the Opera.

    Place your bets!

Seriously, who cares? I haven't seen anything more overhyped than the "discovery" of Susan Boyle's imho rather average, but clear voice. I don't know what was so fantastic about her performance, that people stood up and broke out in tears.

Anyway, I place my bet on Breaking The Law by Judas Priest.

There I was completely wasting, out of work and down
all inside it's so frustrating as I drift from town to town
feel as though nobody cares if I live or die
so I might as well begin to put some action in my life

    YEAH!

I mean if she pulls that off like this (I don't expect her not to misspell the lyrics), I'll buy her album and a little wax figure of her to use as candle on calm summer nights and also as a toilet cleaner.

I know you are a moderator, but you would please stay on-topic and follow the topic's OP instead of nearly hi-jacking my thread? I thought the CoC was there for everyone.

I'm not a moderator and I didn't hijack your thread. In the OP you asked

What do you think her next song will be?
So I answered. My second post was about Her Majesty's possible performance too, so they were ontopic, kthx.

After a second thought I place my bet on Run To The Hills by Iron Maiden. Would be cute with Susan Boyle. I mean, God. Imagine the hysteria during the refrain.

    Rock on, girls!

Don't you mean Rob Halford? Judas Priest is a band, not a person. And so did the Ripper. He was much better then Susan Whomever.

I know I was just talking about them in the sense of musical force vs musical force.

You can say comparing a full band to lone singer is unfair, and I'll tell you to go to hell
