    Default Working with the _normal.dds

Has anyone information about the function of the normal.dds, in the prussian mod, there are some real akward style of normal.dds looking like a diffuse that has a blue channel on it.
In fact what are the functions of the different channels in the normal, i know it's something about height and shadows, but i'd really appriecate if someone could give me a hint

Yes I would like to add a request for this as well. Could someone perhaps do a small run through of how you would approach changing the normals on a re textured unit.

It was only yesterday that I realised you needed to change the green layer to black which was buggering up my normal.
