m2tw let's play on youtube, why so many vanilla game?

considering the game is 6 years old and there are many grand and matured overhaul or conversion mods out there, why are people still showing vanilla games?

can any of you please do SS or BC or the other BC (Bellum Crucis) or SV, DLV or at least KGCM let's play video?

now before you ask, no I can't do that since I'm still living in this part of the world where my upload speed is only 56kbps...

Some people may not like the mods.

Or they are simply unaware of their existence (possible, as I had no idea what mods were until about a year ago)

I was in a similar situation, I dread ever going back to Vanilla after playing SS.

Vanilla is awesome for me

SS has awful loading times , even on good pc's. And Vanilla never crashes , unlike mods and is very simple to play

I play SS since february-march and it only crashed once (and I don't have a very good computer)

SS has never crashed for me, except the Turn 51 bug, which is easily fixed.

Most people who have M2TW want to watch a game they can also play ... And not everyone knows about or cares about mods, as they/we do not play them enough to care... As it is, I'll never play through half the factions on vanilla (why is it called vanilla btw?) because i only spend an hour or two a few times a week playing it right now ...
