Loading a game

Okay, so I've been playing EB since the very first Beta came out and I've managed to get through all the other problems I've had thus far. Now, however, I'm not sure what to do.

I had EB orignially installed on a desktop comp. I now have a laptop, and so I bought a new copy of RTW, installed it on the laptop, and then installed EB over that. Myself and a friend (who is an EB enthusiast) wanted to play our campaigns next to one another so we can see what's going on.

So, I went into the game files and copied the "saves" folder where the save games were and pasted it into the EB folder for the installation on my laptop. The game starts up and gets to the main menu fine and everything, but none of the campaigns will load. They'll begin to load, and then go to the main menu again.

Any idea what's going on, or what I can do to fix the problem?

Are you sure you have the same version of RTW and EB on both systems?
