Why i'm attacked by senate?!

Hello everyone!

I'm new in the forum and i want to make a questiont to you all.Why my allies The Senate are atacking me and start a war?!With theyr ships are blocking my ports and so start the war...I don't want war with Rome(for now) but i'm only in the year 211 BC!!!...and i start the game in 215!..LOL..what is this?...i've been entered in a previous save and i'v been destroy the port of ''Capua''(there atack me) and i press ''end turn'' ....when i see the senate are not atacking me anymore i've said:'' ah..problem resolved..now let continue my conquers''...buw wasn't that!..next turn they atack me in another port at ''Reghion''...
But remeber that the scripts are activated...but why the senate are atacking me and start a war?

I thing that i will re-install Rome Total War with mod spqr v7..

This patch Removes Senate ability to produce ships which "MAY" allow them to attack the player thus starting a civil war with the senate too early in the game. I do recommend installing this patch to be safe as war with the senate too early wouldnt be any fun.
You would HAVE to restart a NEW campaign for this patch to have an effect. Sorry.

You should download the patch and start over again.

Thanks for this post, I started having the same problem. Unfortunately this problem arose after I'd beaten Hannibal and most of the Carthaginians in Italy, so I'll probably be having to do that all over again
