    Default Princesses of Dorne

One of the more notable disappointments I have experienced with this mod is un-playability of Dornish Princesses.

I understand that the reason for that is because Dorne was made after the Moors faction, but while it makes sense that Islamic Princesses aren’t allowed to travel around and look for an infidel husbands, it makes no sense for Dorne, where noble women had more freedoms then medieval European princesses, not less.

Beside making no sense, this also severely impairs gameplay, and not only for Dorne: when I started for Highgarden, one of my initial ideas was to forge an alliance with Dorne by marrying Willas to Arianne, only to realize that Arianne is not marriage-able.

And needless to say, it impairs the gameplay for Dorne even: after surveying the Dorne and its family and generals in my “trial run” for them, I immediately decided to marry Darkstar into the family so that I could have a proper line of Lords of Starfall, only to realize impossibility of that, as Arianne isn’t an agent and thus can’t marry already existing general.

I hope that this will be fixed in the future releases of the mod and Dornish Princess will be made playable.

Yes, this will be fixed in future releases.

We are also going to eliminate the Renly/Margaery marriage to start. It will be scripted to be offered very early on (probably turn 1 or 2) but will give a Renly or Tyrell player the option to turn it down if they choose to do so.

A very good idea; as you know, I always support giving players more options.

By the by, while we are talking about Dorne and player's option, I wonder, have you considered my suggesting to give Martell players an option to marry Trystane to Myrcella and crown Myrcella as Queen of Westros, with Trystane as her King, thus claiming the crown of Westros for their House?

I'm actually writing the new victory conditions right now.

Thank you for implementing my suggestion. Can't wait for the release in which it will be implemented; it will make great gaming experience for the Martells, in my opinion.

New beta may be a while coming. We have lots of features before that one yet

"Five had been his brothers. Oswell Whent and Jon Darry. Lewyn Martell, a prince of Dorne. The White Bull, Gerold Hightower. Ser Arthur Dayne, Sword of the Morning. And beside them, crowned in mist and grief with his long hair streaming behind him, rode Rhaegar Targaryen, Prince of Dragonstone and rightful heir to the Iron Throne."
