    I was wondering is it possible to make the demi and sakers mobile without using horses.
    I noticed in one battle that when my 24lb foot arty lost its horses it was still able to move with the crew pushing it so there is definatly an animation for this.
    I have enabled demi's and sakers to late availabilty beacause due to the lack of horses you can put a unit of infantry really close to it to defend them with muskets but I would like them to be able to move with the rest of the army.
    Has anyone accomplished this,if so, please tell me what I have to change in the unit_stats_land and/or units tables.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sure. I've accomplished it. It's actually really easy. BUT there's a bug. Or maybe a feature, I don't know. And that is, that the gun (any gun that tries to move without limbering) will move, but after it fires, it moves back to its starting point for reloading. So it's not so very useful. If you really want to play around with it, look at Column 25 in unit_stats_land, the column labeled GunIDRef. Find what the entry is for both your saker and demicannon. Go into the gun_types table and change the entry for your saker or demicannon in Column 2 from artillery_fixed to artillery_medium.

    That should do it.

    ah yes,I see what you mean about them going back to the start.Also I noticed that if you select canister shot and click on the enemy unit the cannon crew will start to push the cannons into range.
    I so want this to work,gunna keep experimenting.

    no joy yet,its so frustrating.Anyone who has alot of knowledge about modding in etw could you possibly look into this problem for me

    I'd imagine it has to do with the animation file. You know the animation for regular artillery, after they fire, they push the gun back into it's pre-firing position? That's the one. If you can locate the animation file and somehow remove that reference, I think you'd be good.

    Had a look but couldn't find anything relating to it.I give up,atleast I managed to give the arty crews pistols,thats was my second goal
