    Default Scotland Tartans

I am going to use this mod for my brittania kingdoms expansion. But I thought the scotlands kilts weren't tartony enough, so it would be really good if you made the kilts, more red, orange, and green, sorry for the request.

There are so many bloody things wrong with that paragraph.

First, this mod is not out yet, so you can't use it. Second, if you haven't already done this, you can't just say you are using the mod without asking permission from the owner. Copywritez y'knows. Third, if you actually knew much...the Scottish tartan kilt...not used in this period of time! They will not include mutli flavored kilts because someone asked, why? Because they think it is unhistorically accurate for this time, and the community would piss them off complaining about it.

Also, the people making this mod, aren't making it so that you can copy it and make it into your own mod, and take credit...

Well the post was polite by apologizing for the request, which is more than yours was.

If you can't do anything but disrespect those that post on these forums I suggest you go elsewhere Malvenor.

I did not mean to be 'jumping' on him. I was simply stating the rules in my mind. If my typing seemed offensive or anything, I apologize. But to me, when I read it. I remember just sitting down and typing that stuff trying to be a helpful person. Not a jackass.

If you want to see disrespect, ask me. I will show you what it looks like when I am disrespectful.

I come on here maybe once a day to check stuff out, I only registered because I was bored, and I hardly post at all. But, to let you know. 95% of the people I have met thought I was a complete dickhead for the first little while they know me. They eventually just decide to get to know me and my typing that at most times sounds sarcastic and the make of a dickhead.

It's obviously clear from your original post that you intended to insult him.

Well he could have just meant that he was going to mod his Britannia campaign for personal use, but still .

But still what? Still you all want to be an elitist bunch of jackasses, who jump on any excuse to give someone a hard time?

What, is this poor fellow taking food off your plates and money from your pockets? Did he say he would use the mod without credit, laughing like some kind of Bond villain as he stroked his cat from his fortress of doom?

Jesus, lighten up you bunch of freaking y old women. It's a mod, not a game, no money is changing hands, no copywrite laws will be infringed and ultimately, if you are going to put something on the internet that is free to download and use then you have no say in how those people end up using it.

Honestly, you are all worse than the idiots on the Call of Warhammer thread.

Yes I have to agree you are right,
crepe100 just said he would use units for his britannia kingdoms campaign, and there are these guys who answer like he announced a serious action against any laws

You came off unreasonably harsh, this is why you were jumped on.

Apoligize perhaps, or don't. More importantly we should all move on, there are more important matters to discuss. For example, in the recent Hordland preview, no units had horned viking helmets, what gives? Is this mod honestly going to be released in this state? I know the mod isn't a 100% simulation of the middle ages, but I just feel it disrespectful that the viking units do not have stereotypical viking helmets.

    I eagerly await your responses.

    How dare you!

    ... But seriously, just no.

Its funny how so many people here seem to enjoy a good argument don't you think?

Thank you for the ones who were nice to me, thank you, the ones who apologised to me, thank you for apolising. I wasn't going to steal it off you, I never knew it was copywrited. I thought it personnaly was a brilliant modification to brittania, as it was getting old for me. But if I could get it, it would be super!

It's not copywrited (as far as I know) but you should probably contact Danova before using his units or any units used in his mod.

Also, it might be a little strange to implement this mod's units into Brittania because The Last Kingdoms handles a much earlier time period. Anyways, that's your call I guess. For now I suppose the best thing you can do is just to wait patiently for the mod to come out, play it a bit and when you're done with it ask Danova for permission to use his mod's units in a mod of your own. You could even try to make a sub-mod for TLK... which is probably the smartest thing you can do.

I think some guys jumped at you because it's a little... unorthodox to request unit changes in a mod made by others so that you can use them in a mod of your own. If you want brighter colors in the kilts, just brighten them yourself, that's the point of modding .

Lastly I took the liberty of correcting a few spelling errors in your post & and I wonder how to pronounce your name... Crepe as in the french pancakes or crepe as in creepy?

I wasn't going to use the units in my mod, or take any credit for them, I was wanting to know, If I could just put the mod on my game.

By the way my name is the french pancake type of crepe, there delicious.

Hey Crepe, I never thought you were trying to steel anyone's work. I only gave the thumbs down because it wouldn't make sense for Danova to make a unit like that for this time period and I think asking someone to make units just so you can use them in a different mod is a little impolite. I'm sure you had no ill intent anyway.

Es tu franēais, or do you just like crepes?
