You see, there are some of you who have not figured out that your idea is not new, and instead of actually spending a measley X minutes searching the 100% perfect and accurate archives, you actually want to post your specific question. Heaven forbid!

Why, you ask, can't the people who have already seen something similar asked in the past simply ignore your request for new info if they happen to have already seen it? Because, that would be too easy.

So, to my beloved fellow TW fans and lurkers of message boards, when you see something that has been asked before and people are STILL having a dialog, you really don't need to post that the same topic already appeared. If people are talking about the game, its not going to hurt you any to let them talk....

Move on, its OK. And by the way, your "already another topic about this" comment has probably already been made, so you are the one who needs to read the whole thread. Touche!

It would also be great if people used 'search' or google from time to time, or bothered to read the faq/stickies and used some more common sense when formulating questions/suggestions but w/e.

...people are tired of answering the same things over and over again. the white HUD and stuff? fixed the first or second day with the hotfix and the 1.1 patch, but i've seen people a week after the hotfix released saying "MY HUD IS WHITE WTF DO I DO??". there are two, undiscovered magical forces on these forums. the 1st is the sticky thread, where usually you'll find an FAQ and notes on releases, AKA the white HUD fix. the second is the mysterious being called "the *gasp* SEARCH BUTTON", an underused tool that saves people a lot of time. on this forum and from the days i've lurked on the ETW before i realized that it was a steaming pile of crap, i've seen countless imaginative and innovative threads buried underneath craploads of "how do you change government type??? (ETW)" or "how about we put in unique cities on the battlemap! (TATW)". people get sick of repeating the same stuff over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again (i think that nailed the point). if anyone who is reading this thread has a question, please please PLEASE use the "SEARCH BUTTON"

Unfortunately this sort of thing often happens while most mods are asleep.

the one good thing is generally the forum pretty much dies after 6pm(my time gmt-4) aka when the mods go to sleep so there is that much crap to delete anyway

it's like that on every forum i've ever been to.
countless people starts threads about something thats been answered a few threads down..
on EU3 forums people keep asking how to deal with france..
heck one guy even made a new thread even though the very first thread was about the exact same thing..
