    get what done?

home from us in peace. We seek not
your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch

and may posterity forget that ye were

Get an editor, like the Wall Editor. :original:

How fast can it be done?

This is as close as we'll get to a graphical editing of cities, and it's really useful. Even someone who doesn't have 3ds max can use it, by simply downloading GMax, 3ds max' free alternative, in which this script works just as fine.

what do the overlays in the overlays folder actually do?, they seem to be carbon copies of their respective underlays

I know this is an old thread, but I figured its the best place to ask the question.

I downloaded the settlement plan export script and tried running it in Max, but I can't seem to get it to work.

I load in a few building models, move em around to how i like em, select them with the selection tool, hit 'export settlement plan' and an empty window appears. What do you think I'm doing wrong?

    Hi there,

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask... But I seem to be doing something wrong when loading the overlay... It doesn't get any texture... (the underlay works fine though)

This is what I get after I load the overlay file:

    Attachment 24206

    Can someone please help me?

    Thanks!

So I'm guessing the new Roman city was never created?

    The darkest of necromancies!

Im also having this problem, with the same version of Max. I don't suppose anyone knows exactly what "fiddling" is required to get it working?
