    Yea, befoe the getting 1.03, I could play ALL succesors, now I can only play the Attalids, what the heck?

    You need to complete the Attalid campaign first to unlock the other Diadochi factions.

    Go into descr_strat.txt and cut\paste seleucid, macedon, egypt, thrace and slavs (not slaves!!) under playable instead of unlockable...
