Default ExRM - Music Capabilities (Add or Modify)?

The Music for ExRM is nice and all, but i want to add my own. How would i do this?
I am currently running Marcus Camillus RTR Music Remix Mod and it sounds great! But, since im the person i am, i want music that would fit my German campaign way better.
    -As for inserting music:
    C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\ExRM\Data\sounds\music
    W/ marcus Camillus music mod
How can i add music in this area?
Would adding a track titled "Battle_7" do anything?
Or is the game only limited to a certain number of music tracks?

You can put however many songs you want to put, its easy. First put a music track, lets say its named eastern_music_2.mp3. Notice the underscores where spaces should be, RTW isnt a big fan on music with spaces in the name. After you have copied the mp3 to the music folder (make sure its an mp3) then you open up the descr_sounds_music.txt located in the Data folder of the mod.

Now music is divided into factions, and subdivided into where the music should play, for example here's a look into my EB customized music

    ;;; FRONTEND
    culture roman
    state MUSIC_FRONTEND
    event
    folder data/sounds/music
    EB_Main_Theme_WIP.mp3
    Battle_Victory_Minor_Civilized.mp3
    Romanprebattle.mp3
    SacredJourney.mp3
    end
Notice how the culture says roman, its music for those that have roman culture.

Notice also the subdivision into frontend, frontend is the menu music. There are other catagories which include MUSIC_BATTLE_TENSION where it plays the music on the battlemap before you start moving your troops, but once your troops are moving you should notice that the music changes, that would be the MUSIC_BATTLE_MOBILIZE, or the marching music as id call it, and then there is the MUSIC_BATTLE_BATTLE, which is self explanatory.

The other major one is MUSIC_STRATMAP_SUMMER, which is the music played while you are on the campaign map. There are others too for music played when you lose a battle, win one, loading battle, loading screen, etc.

Now, for the implemenation of the mp3 called eastern_music_2.mp3. Say you want that particular file to play on the campaign map of an eastern faction, such as the parthians. So look for the eastern music section, then under the campaign map section (look above for its name if you forgot) paste eastern_music_2.mp3 between any two pieces of music (its a good rule of thumb to use when you dont want to accidentally ruin the code). Then delete your music.idx file (i forgot where it was, use microsoft search), then play as an eastern faction and sooner or later you will hear your music playing on the campaign map!

It also helps to know which factions are which culture, but its not that hard.

    Hope this helps
