    Default Diplomat problems... kinda...

Ok, so i am playing as High elves and im allied to all the good factions, with great relations to all...
but after crushing isengard i had all my generals scattered when i get attacked by OotMM so i send out an army without a general...
and they are promptly bribed by Dwarves!
and then a turn after that i loose one of my bridge-blocker forces on the outskirts of my empire to a rohan diplomat that bribes them!

this completely destroyed any kind of immersion that i had...

is there some way to stop diplomats from bribing armies?
it just seems very strange that High Elves get bribed by rohan and dwarves... not like High Elves are lusting for gold you know...

It's the dev team's fault. They made all the low level elven units jealous of the Eldar armour...

I had a similar problem, but not to such an extent. If I might, I'd also like to add to your objection the desertion occurrence. It's much too frequent, I lost 10 elven lancer units in 2 turns it took them 2 turns to flee for their lives and betray the elven people...

    great merciless gods...

i think bribery should be turned off for this mod (or at least tuned down immensly)...

its not that i dont think mordor and isenguard could bribe the "good" nations or anything, but when humans start bribing elves its just going a bit off-lore... wich apparantly is a big no-no in this mod...

Elves should have a trait which gives 10 loyalty and decrease to chance to bribe.. while dwarves should have again 10 loyalty and increase to chance to bribe (so they rebel less but are still bribable). Orcs... not bribable just because they would never betray Sauron so openly and nobody would try to bribe them, plus they had little use for money though some (mostly OotMM) appreciated treasure. Numenorians should also be unbribable, they could only be corrupted through the use of powerful magics (IE: the rings of power) and men.. mmm no change perhaps might be best for standard men, maybe +1 loyalty.

Simple answer to the diplomats: Assassins
Keep them close to your armies and if you happen to spot any diplomats, just kill them. Not a great way to make friends, granted, but if you have the never ending alliance mod thingy then you can balance it with tributes. To be quite honest, I haven't come under many issues with bribery, so my advice is probably best if you do the opposite
