Google's Chrome or Mozilla Firefox - that's the question here.
Chrome suppose to be faster.
Have you any experience with Chrome and is it worthwhile to switch from Firefox?
Thank you for replying to my question.

No switch until Chrome adds smooth scrolling.....
Chrome isn't any faster in my experience except for google's own sites (gmail, docs, etc).
I must admit my Firefox has beenlately have any of you Chrome users had any problems at all or should I stick with good old trusty Firefox

Know where you're going in life . . . you may already be there!
Opera is better then both
Gentlemen, please provide some more details on your experience. Just "It's better", is not good enough.
I have not heard enough about Opera - how do these three differ?
I like Opera because of its Speed Dial Function, which allows you to instantly go to 9 of your chosen websites instead of scrolling through a big list of bookmarked sites, plus it has alot of other cool functions like a built in bitorrent client.

I've always been against the Windows browsers, but IE 8 has Impressed me over the last 3 months.
I use chrome on my Netbook because it offers alot of browsing space compared to Mozilla and IE8.

chrome is waaaaay faster than firefox for me
takes like 0.3 seconds to load a webpage. firefox takes 10 seconds just to start
the advantage to firefox is customizability

From my experience Chrome and Firefox both take the same time to load a page but to actually start up the browser Chrome is the winner.
Chrome was good for a while when I had it, but then I started having problems with it, such as it wasn't loading internet pages sometimes, so I saidthis and got Firefox. Haven't had any problems with Firefox

I like internet explorer 8, I've tried every browser except for Opera. I just like how minimal you can make the status bars on IE8.

hmmm I use Google Mail and Google Docs a lot, and Opera is VERY SLOW with them. IE8 and Firefox are slightly better, but Google Chrome's speed for their own sites is just unbelievable..... (Did they deliberately make that?)
Not as minimal as Firefox.I like internet explorer 8, I've tried every browser except for Opera. I just like how minimal you can make the status bars on IE8.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
One of the major reasons I like Mozilla Firefox is that I find it is very flexible in customizability. There are thousands of great available user created add-ons. If you type in the address bar: "about:config" (without quotes) you will see quite a few settings that can be altered. You can also alter these settings by editing a file named Prefs.js. I personally use this guide which covers from the most basic of settings, about:config guidlines, guidelines for editing files such as userchrome.css, usercontent.css, prefs.js, add-ons and ectetra.
It also serves my personal needs in performance and security, especially with some great security-related user add-ons such as Adblock Plus and NoScript. Take note that some of the default configurations have been altered via about:config/prefs.js which could potentially improve browsing performance over the default settings. Such as increasing the disk cache to 150MB from the default of 50MB (and is placed on my SSD). Increasing the number of DNS entries cached, enabling HTTP Pipelining, slightly increasing the maximum number of server connections made by Firefox and ectetra.
I noticed that Google Chrome starts a process at system startup for it's automatic updating capabilities which keeps running in the background even when the browser is closed. This can be disabled by using the application Autoruns or the built in MsConfig tool with Windows. Other than this, I have little complaints about it, other than not liking it's default interface which is highly subjective.
