    Default Animation help

    Hi all,

    I am trying to change a unit into using breech-loading rifles and swords as secondary weapons.

    I believe a new animation is required and that it is possible to create one via the anim.pack editing the animation_tables.txt and creating a new battleconfiguration.txt. But sadly my atempts have failed repeatedly.

    Could someone please tell me how to do it?

    animation_table man_rifle_sabre
    {
    skeleton_type man

    fragment man_common_fragment
    fragment musket_death_fragment default_equipment_display = ambient
    fragment climb_fragment default_equipment_display = primary_weapon, ambient
    fragment musket_sabre_fragment default_equipment_display = primary_weapon, ambient
    fragment Rifle_fragment default_equipment_display = primary_weapon, ambient
    }


    I think that should cover everything you want it to. Add that to animations_table.txt and then assign man_rifle_sabre to your unit in the animation column in units_stats_land. That should do it.

    Glad it works for you "Fan", I guess -- I'm a modder who's expanding a faction he's always enjoyed playing.
