possible option for v2.0 that I think would be really cool.

ok, so again, I love this mod to death. But everytime I played a battle, I always felt something was wrong with the graphics. It certainlly was not the character models, those are exellent. I just couldnt figure it out. UNTILL............I watched the battle of helms deep on tv. I noticed that the whole battle has this gritty, dark mood to it. so I am suggesting a screen affect that makes the battles more grittyish, maybe a bit of screen grain. Just watch the battle of helms deep, the screen affects really make the whole battle immersive. just a suggestion guys.

Sounds not bad....something like this cool red sky when you fight a battle in mordor

Unless you fight in cloudy weather, rofl ... then the sky defaults to some vanilla profile

Would it be possible for there to be storms whenever Isengard armies fight battles for example? Like all the time, rather than random weather.

no i don't think it was. he was probably working off the movies like the battle of hornburg. it always seemed that isengard attacked at the dark. as a counterpoint to that, however, the uruk-hai raid on the fellowship in the first movie was during the daytime, as was the warg attack on the rohan caravan.

Well, Mordor did prefer to fight in darkness, perhaps it would be possible for Evil generals to always be able to fight in the dark, and actually prefer it. Even though Uruks could fight during the day, they would still prefer the darkness.

Didn't Saruman use his magic to alter the weather so his Uruk-hai fought better? I mean sunlight didn't affect them in any way but they do prefer night. And night + storm makes awesome battles....like at Helm's Deep.

That's what i meant, i think it might be pssible to make a darker atmosphere the same way...

But when your NOT fighting in Mordor....Like is it possible to give Isengard and Mordor generals traits that make the weather very cloudy/dark/raining/thunderstorm all the time?
